Clicking the Home option you will see on the side navigation bar within Advanced HR:

Expands out with a further Home option as well as Recent History:

The Recent History was previously displayed as a breadcrumb:

However you will notice as you navigate around the new Advanced HR interface your Recent History will build up allowing you to click back into a previously viewed area and a new Breadcrumb will be created as you navigate around an employees record:

Clicking Home within that sub menu or the orange Advanced chevron icon, takes you back to the Advanced HR Home page:
