Top tips for Holiday Year End

We would like to share our Top tips for completing the Holiday year end process!

  1. Use the mail merge feature to communicate the holiday year end process to your employees.
  2. Ensure you refer to your company policy within any communication to your employees.
  3. Use the global update feature to update the holiday (the detail of this process depends on your organisations policy).
  4. Update Advanced HR with the new holiday year dates (beginning and end).
  5. Update all Personnel records with new holiday year details.
  6. Send an email to all Personnel records regarding the start of the new holiday year.
  7. Make sure you prepare for the new year, import bank holidays into the regional information area. This process can be completed through importing a spreadsheet.

Questions to ask yourself…

Has all annual leave for all Personnel Records been added into Advanced HR?

Should any remaining balance be carried over to next year? If so, how much?

Have you communicated the process to your Personnel?
