Ethos

Employees get the most restricted access to Advanced HR

  • Employees get read-only access to most of their own personal data
  • If they require any amendments to their data, generally they must be requested through validated and/or authorised processes
  • Everyone is at least an employee, so the following functionality and access applies to all groups as the default minimum.

Key features

These are features that drive the employee experience

  1. Absence and Leave
An employee will be able to book leave and other absences, as well as cancel previously booked absences. In addition to this employees are also able to view their associated entitlements and balances for leave and sickness.
  2. Pay
Employees are able to view and amend their bank details as well as view their employment history and financial compensation.
  3. Up to date details
Advanced HR provides various automated processes to help users maintain their data and for HR to validate that data before it is saved into the database, for situations such as updating their personal contact information or bank details. Employees also have limited access to enter specific information without HR validation, such as their emergency contacts and dependants.

Reports

Viewing data for Employees is generally handled through specific pages designed with the employee in mind. In the case of absence and leave records a graphical view is more appropriate and so we provide employees with the following Calendar reports.

Report

Purpose
